This is why people get cynical about politicians. What I can't believe the most is that this guy hasn't resigned yet.

Sounds like the advice of industry folks. While it's no doubt true you want to put your best foot forward in your first album, there's also the need to strike while the iron is hot. The challenge for the artists discovered on YouTube -- Mia Rose is another that comes to mind -- is the huge lag time between being discovered and putting out the album.
